John Deere has produced many models of disks over the years, and some of the older models include:
Model K: This was John Deere's first disk, introduced in 1911. It was horse-drawn and featured a unique design with offset gangs that allowed it to follow the contours of the land.
Model R: Introduced in the 1930s, the Model R was a tractor-drawn disk that featured an adjustable gang angle.
Model 55: The Model 55 was a popular disk in the 1940s and 1950s. It was designed for tractors with less than 40 horsepower and featured a heavy-duty frame.
Model 210: Introduced in the 1960s, the Model 210 was a versatile disk that could be used for primary tillage or secondary tillage. It featured a gang angle adjustment of up to 21 degrees.
Model 230: The Model 230 was a heavy-duty disk designed for primary tillage. It featured a 24-inch blade diameter and a gang angle adjustment of up to 24 degrees.
Model 235: Introduced in the 1970s, the Model 235 was a tandem disk designed for primary tillage. It featured a working width of up to 18 feet and a gang angle adjustment of up to 24 degrees.
Model 637: The Model 637 was a popular disk in the 1980s and 1990s. It was designed for primary tillage and featured a gang angle adjustment of up to 21 degrees.
