The "Mach-E Charge Curve" refers to the charging profile or charging curve for the Ford Mustang Mach-E electric vehicle (EV).

The Mach-E has a battery capacity of either 75.7 kWh or 98.8 kWh, depending on the trim level. The charging curve for the Mach-E varies based on the battery size and the charging speed of the charging station. Here are some general guidelines for the Mach-E's charging curve:

  • At a DC fast-charging station with a power output of 150 kW, the Mach-E's battery can charge from 10% to 80% in about 45 minutes for the 75.7 kWh battery or about 55 minutes for the 98.8 kWh battery.
  • Once the battery reaches 80%, the charging speed will begin to slow down to protect the battery and extend its lifespan. It may take another 20-30 minutes to reach 100% charge.
  • At a Level 2 AC charging station, the Mach-E can charge at a maximum rate of 11.5 kW. This means that it will take about 8 hours to fully charge a 75.7 kWh battery and about 10 hours to fully charge a 98.8 kWh battery.

It's important to note that charging times and rates can vary based on factors such as the temperature of the battery and the charging station, as well as the age and condition of the battery. Additionally, charging speed can be limited by the EV's onboard charger, which is limited to a certain rate.
